Unlimited text to speech, billed by the hour instead of by the character
Every per-character tool turns the same question into arithmetic homework: how much audio do I actually get for my money? This page answers it with one number — the cost of one finished hour of speech — and shows where that number comes from, including the limits that apply to us.
What one hour of audio costs here
An hour of speech is roughly 58,000 characters of text. That is the figure kreawave meters with internally, and it is the conversion used everywhere on this page — for our plans and for everyone else's.
The Pro plan is €15 a month and includes 24 hours of audio, so a finished hour costs €0.62. Nothing is deducted per character, there are no credits to top up mid-script, and the bill does not change with how much you generate inside the plan.
What “unlimited” means here
The Unlimited plan (€30 a month) has no monthly allowance and is never billed per character: one flat price, whatever you generate. Usage is subject to our Terms of Service, which every pricing card links to.
So which one is cheaper? Unlimited only beats Pro above roughly 48 hours of audio a month. Below that, Pro is the better deal and we would rather say so than sell you the bigger plan. At 120 hours a month, Unlimited works out at €0.25 per hour; the more you generate, the lower that figure.
Hour packs, for the months that spike
If one month is unusually heavy, one-off hour packs stack on top of your plan and never expire: €6 for 5 hours (€1.20 per hour), €14 for 15 hours (€0.93), €32 for 40 hours (€0.80). You can spend a 40-hour pack in one sitting.
Why per-character pricing gets expensive so fast
On credit-based tools one credit is one character. A ten-minute YouTube script is around 9,700 characters, so a 30,000-credit entry plan is three scripts and a bit. The problem is not only the price: it is that you start editing your script to fit the meter, and re-generating a line you are not happy with costs money again.
Here, re-doing a line is free within your plan — and you do not have to re-run the whole file. If one sentence comes out with a glitch, you regenerate that segment and it is stitched back into the audio.

What you do not get here
We are not the most expressive engine on the market and this page is not going to claim otherwise. There is no emotional direction, no acting tags, no per-line intensity control.
